Gustav W. Verderber is an environmental interpreter who photographs, writes, and teaches about nature and environmental issues. He is a juried artist with the Vermont Arts Council whose credits include the cover of, and a feature article in Natural History, as well as The American Biology Teacher, Backpacker, The Conservationist, The Country Journal, Vermont Life, Vermont Magazine, The Green Mountain Review, scientific journals, newspapers, and children's publications. Mr. Verderber also features his work in a multi-media presentation entitled Visions of Home in which his natural history images are accompanied by sounds of nature, new-age and traditional Celtic rhythms. Mr. Verderber is currently working on several book projects, including a portfolio of the Northern Forest, and a natural history of the marine intertidal.
