A native Californian, Terry Sutherland graduated in 1973 from Art Center College of Design, the premier college for commercial photography and design in the United States.

As sole proprietor of Sutherland Photo Design for 25 years, Terry has achieved national and international recognition in the field of product and industrial design photography, working with clients such as Panasonic, Hewlett Packard and Seiko Instruments.

An avid gardener, fly-fisherman and traveler, Terry seeks the extraordinary within the ordinary. His fine art photography reflects his passion for the juxtaposition of light, color, texture and design, and his fascination with the dramatic details of the natural world.

Terry lives with his wife and daughter in Southern California.
